Hello, I just received my new Chinese laser running a Rudia 6445 controller. Do I need to install the Rudia software before installing Lightburn? Or, can I just install Lightburn by itself? I’d rather not install both if not needed.

No software is required, Lightburn connects directly to the Ruida controller.

You might need the driver (FTDI) from the end of the LightBurn installer the first time you install. After you have it you don’t need to install it again.
