I’ll have a look later on to see if there’s the option. Omtech suggested I tape down the door sensors…! In an ideal world I’d like to have them working but if it comes to it I’ll try to disable them a little better than just using tape lol.
I found this thread, it’s all people with the same issue as me. I reckon they got their lasers around the same time, there was a late September release of Omtech K40s in the UK: Error 13 safety door detected as open and door state imitated - #5 by Iceo
It feels like the physical “reset” button on the laser itself is supposed to tell Lightburn that the laser is safe again, but it doesn’t do anything until I type $X. It doesn’t seem to do anything other than change a light. I wonder if there’s an issue there with the communication.
