Thanks, I forgot about MeerK40t, I had intended to try that too.

I’m a graphic designer/web programmer by trade, so I have the Adobe and Affinity suites (among others). I like that I can simply save a file in Illustrator and then open it up in LightBurn. That’s the workflow I like.

I’ll still try out MeerK40t though while I wait to get a new controller. Hopefully it will work well enough to keep me entertained.

Yeah. That’s super nice for sure. I love that LightBurn is fairly promiscuous in terms of what file types it accepts.

Yeah. I was thinking as a stopgap since LightBurn is the endgame. From what I’ve seen of it you can at least do dynamic object placement.

Yeah, unfortunately that idea died quickly. There’s no standalone installer, and it wants python and other stuff installed first. I just recently removed all the python stuff I didn’t need anymore, so suffering through LaserDRW until I can use LightBurn again appears to be the plan.
