Just setting up my new OLM2 15-watt machine. The software being used is Lightburn. The XY motor doesn’t show any movement even though the software detected its presence.

Homing
Alarm:9
Homing fail. Could not find limit switch within search distance. Defined as 1.5 * max_travel on search and 5 * pulloff on locate phases.

Check the wiring for the motors and your limit switches. This error is telling you that the system is not finding the limit switches. Check to ensure the hardware is set up and configured correctly from the Ortur instructions.
A common reason for this is the board not getting 12v power (Either not plugged in or faulty power supply)
In laymen’s terms the USB can power the brains but there is no power to run the motors. The control board thinks the motors should be moving to home but in reality they are not. Finally the control board gets tired of waiting and gives the Alarm 9 error.
