My operating system is Window 10 and my new laser is an Omtech 60 watt co2 laser. I had the core version of Lightburn but had to upgrade to Pro for proper drivers. I have been working with Omtech with no success in resolving the connection problem. Ruida drivers have been installed, USB selection shows auto and Riuda is displayed. I cannot make a connection from my PC to the Omtech laser. I believe I have attempted almost every configuration possible with no success. Can anyone suggest what might be going on?
I don’t understand what are you upgraded?
Best advice I can give is to connect the machine and laser over LAN, it is the connection which is the most stable and it is simple. No restrictions of too short or bad USB cable.
I would second bernd.dk’s recommendation to move your connection to Ethernet based. It’s much faster, requires no drivers, and just flat works once it’s set up. USB can have so many little issues that are a pain to deal with. Documentation on configuring here:
