If it’s not the same file, on the same wood, it’s not really a meaningful comparison unfortunately. It’s also possible the diode itself has died - they do have a lifespan, and if you’ve been running it for 8 months, that’s unfortunately a possibility.
Do you have other software that you can try it with? (whatever it came with, for example, just to rule that out?)

No this is the only software that i have. any suggestions?
When was the last time you cleaned your lens, or checked the focus?
I check the focus before i use it everytime. How do i clean the lens and i will give that a shot
Water or a bit of Windex on a q-tip. Isopropyl alcohol works well too.
Where did flood fill go on the update?
Where fewer people can find it accidentally. 
Click the ‘Advanced’ tab in the Fill settings.
