New upload 1.2.04, Offset Fill problem

Just downloaded 1.2.04. For some reason the Offset Fill does not work properly. I have tried with several speeds and différant power settings. I also checked all my hardware and belts. Line items seem to burn well. I always get the same results. The fill seems to be completing but the final outline always displaces on the x axis to the negative side of the image. See attached photos. Any suggestions or corrective action would be appreciated.

What does the Preview look like?

Are you certain this issue is exclusive to 1.2.04 and not just a coincidence?

My first reaction to this just from the picture is that looks like missing steps and would advise to check belt tension and pinon gears. But if you’re absolutely certain this is exclusive to 1.2.04 that could potentially change things.

Can you try saving the g-code for the design with a .txt extension and uploading here?

Thanks for your comments. I have spent a lot of time checking everything. I have come to the conclusion that 1.2.04 update is not the problem. As you noted the the quick movement of the laser is creating great g-forces, and it appears that the two x-axis mounting brackets are being twitched and the plastic is working like a spring.
A great lesson to all. I am now looking to replace both plastic supports with aluminium plates, this will solve all these problems. For now I have glued additional plastic plates on to the existing to give extra strength and rigidity.

Thanking you for your great support,
Gerd
