I switched off the air assist … but still the same laser fires up and finishes the programme … not a scorch mark on the wood

See if this post helps. I have read many laser not firing issues and it always seems to be a setting. This was a master 1 and not 2, I don’t know what the difference is. I saw one where it was a faulty laser.

Ortur laser moving but not firing

[Schermafbeelding 2020-04-24 om 15.26.13] Hello, I just got my Ortur laser master 1. I installed Lightburn on my Mac. I got the laser to move but not to fire. I got it to fire once but not anymore. After this I installed the new firmware from a windows computer and made my first engraving with Grbl from this same pc. All fine there. But I would like to use my Mac with Lightburn. any suggestions on what I’m missing here?

Ortur Laser Master 2 Not Burning

Hi! Need Some help! The lasers light turns on when I send a project to the laser and it traces the art as if it was burning but no burning takes place. Ive updated everything and have retried everything. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The latest from ortur was do not switch on the laser again, send us pics of wiring … so sounds like it may not be my fault … sheesh !!! really happy with response from ortur thus far… once again thank you all for your help.
