I’m a new user and I didn’t realize my SCULPFUN S6 didn’t have the homing capability. Trying to learn how to do all the settings, I thought I saw a message that said it was disabled so I went into Machine settings, down to the Homing section and switched the Homing 22 from False to True. Not sure what I clicked next, “write” I believe, but my lazer then tried to home but didn’t stop, I shut it off and now all commands and settings seem to be gone and nothing seems to work. Everytime I try and connect it tries to home. I tried a full factory re-set but that didn’t work either. Can this be fixed?
Disable “Auto-home on startup” in Edit->Device Settings.
Then go back to Edit->Machine Settings and set homing to false.
If for whatever reason you can’t prevent the homing cycle, then just disconnect power. The controller should get enough power from USB to power on. Then disable homing.
If that doesn’t work, then disconnect the stepper motors long enough to make the change.

Fantastic it’s fixed! So easy! I saw that auto-set to home setting was on but for some reason I hesitated to change it, makes complete sense as to why it appeared everything disappeared … the laser was off! thank you very much for the quick assistance.
