Hi all. I’m new here and been fumbling through laser cutting for the last 3 months. I just upgraded my G Wekie 1390 to a Ruida 6445g and light burn. I set out to engrave some acrylic and I’m having an issue. Some of the letter are not engraving correctly. If anyone can help me figure this out I’d appreciate it.
To answer / help, may I ask:
- What laser tube do you have?
- What are your speed and power settings on the engraved text?
- What are the engraving settings (Scan all at once / individual)?
- If you were to run a straight line at 10%, 30%, 60%, and 90% what readings would those percentages provide on the ammeter?
- What focal length lens are you running?
- Are you using air assist?
- Is this cast or extruded acrylic.

Reci 100w - What are your speed and power settings on the engraved text? 350 mm/20%
- What are the engraving settings (Scan all at once / individual)? All at once
