No pen lifting on Z Axis

Hi,

I hope I can find help for a solution for my problem.

I have a MKS-DLC32 V2.1 + Touch Screen MKS TS35-R V2.0

I did set Grbl 1.1

I got everything moving now by hand from LightBurn and from the touchscreen.

But if I try to print a test with just some lines the pen lift on the Z does not moves up or down.

I got also no pen up commands in my G-Code Files.

I did edit Device Settings in LightBurn and the settings Enable Z-Axis and Relative Z Movis only are switched on. But still no movements.

I guess I have to do more but don’t know what and where.

Any Idea how to get the pen moving for drawing?

Lightburn has been adapted to pen plotters by some users. It was designed for laser off/on operation which would not include a solenoid for moving a pen. However, you can do a search in the forum (magnifying glass) using pen plotter and you will find lots of good information to help you.

In your test file’s cut settings editor, are you specifying a Z offset?
