I’ve tried to cut one of these multiple layered mandalas but I found out that on one of the layers not all the peaces have being cut. What might cause this problem and how to fix it. Is it something from the file I used or there is another problem?
Probably a material issue, or wrong layer setting.
The problem is that all the other peaces were fine and just couple of them in a small area have shown sign of the laser passing through this area and try to cut but made only lines.
Which points to a material problem. Are you using plywood?
Can you post a picture of problem?
I would say you have a combination of bad spot in plywood and mechanical issues. I imagine that back side has some penetration in those areas, so it is more than just marking.
I assume these are not in your file.
You’re completely correct. The back side has some penetration. Do you have some suggestion how to fix the mechanical issue? I also spot the lines you’ve marked but have no idea how to fix this.
I would go around machine and tighten any loose belts, check all set screws on drive pulleys couplers with an allen wrench, laser head for looseness to mount, all giude wheels for any play.
