Can anyone help me how to solve this problem:
First of all, it is a GRBL diode laser, when I let it engrave lines, everything is fine, it engraves normally, but when I let it engrave a fill or an image, then along the y axis it makes distances between the lines. For example, the square is 10 by 10 mm, when it is a line it is accurate and precise, but when it engraves along the x axis it is good but along the y axis together with the distances made it is 110 mm.
Also, when I move to empty on the x axis, the y axis also moves.
So, you’re saying both images are the same 10mm square, just one line and one fill?
Is this a new machine? Has it ever worked properly? What does the preview window show for the filled square?
If the Y axis calibration was off it could give these results, but that would affect line mode as well as Fill. This isn’t making sense.
Post a screenshot(not phone pic) of your Cut settings editor with this layer loaded in fill mode, also the preview window.
The machine is not new, I used it some time ago on another computer, after I bought CO2 I haven’t used it for a while. Now I’m turning it on for the first time on a new computer and this error appears.
Things aren’t adding up here. Your cut settings that you posted first show a 90* scan angle and a line interval of 1.000. Now you show a 0* scan angle and 0.100 scan angle. Which settings did you use when you got the weird results?
both, but same result…
line interval is 0.100, i tried different, but the resultat was same
A 90* scan angle will producedifferent results than 0*, and a scan interval of 1.0 will be quite different from 0.1. Try running your fill again at 0* & 0.100. Run it on scrap so you don’t waste good material. Frame the output before running and see if that looks correct. Then next to it run it again at 90* scan angle for comparison. Post the results.
I solved the problem. The cable connection was the probleм. Thank you for you time !!!
Glad you got it sorted out.
Thank You for your time !!!
