I am trying to set up a file that is made out of acrylic. It needs to have multiple circular holes. When I set up the first array and then set up a new array the spacing on the first array goes to the same settings as first. Is there not a way to “Lock” those setting? Thank you for the help.
It is not working like say a Rectangle… when you click on the rectangle it will give you the size it currently is. When I go to review an already made, (in fact the first array adopted the new size) it only shows the last measurements of the newer array. Not the size of the array that was already made. Do you know if there is a way to LOCK a feature so it can not be rescaled?
Ok, now I understand you better. No, there is no “historical data” available for this kind of actions, I think it will be very complicated to determine and store this information in the “group” of array elements and once you have ungrouped it the “problem” is even bigger .
Why not use more than one layer?
Make your array on black layer. Lock those objects in place.
Make the second object
Change to blue layer
Make your array on for the second layer.
Lock those shapes in place
Repeat as needed
