Hi, When I am cutting a new board, I start with a low power setting and a bunch of passes … It would be handy to have a display pop-up on the screen counting the number of passes so when the part falls from the board I can hit stop and see how many passes it took to complete the job with that material so I can set that in my notes for later jobs.
Sounds like a feature request that best goes in feature suggestions.
Agree with @Dskall that you submit the enhancement.
The Ruida and the fiber have large memories, so it would be difficult to determine what the machine is actually doing or where it is in the process.
I do this from the console of the Ruida … I also don’t usually use multiple passes which is moot when related to the Ruida.
For a diode laser ( if you are using the one in your profile ) if you watch the console panel it will show each pass as it starts so you can get the number from there.
Hi, Can you post a image showing where I should see this Pass Count? I only see the little window where I set the number of passes to make.
But, for doing dozens of passes … a large (user choice) Pass Counting up or down on the screen would be really nice. Not all of us have 20/20 vision.
