I seem to be having issues with objects overlapping and the motor seems to be making a bit of a grinding noise. The objects seem to be using the same x & y starting position even though they are different. Had no issues until now. When manually moving the laser it is fine with no grinding noise.
Any help would be welcome

This post is worth review.
The summary:
Turn on Laser Mode to get rid of the travel lines
You’re trying to move too fast, which is why you don’t get enough power
You need to zero the machine
3018’s are pre-configured for use as CNC machines, not lasers, so their settings and speeds will likely need to be changed to give you acceptable results with LightBurn.
To see the existing settings, you can type $$ into the console in LightBurn and press enter, or go to Edit > Machine Settings. Both are showing the same values, b…
Your settings for acceleration are quite high for this kind of machine. What were those set to before?

All sorted, thanks for the help
The manufacturer website recommends 5000 for acceleration, but think that might be for using the spindle motor. I think its 30-45 by default.
I’ve set acceleration to 2000 and had no issues.
Thanks again for the help.
