Just wondering if anyone can think of why these shapes are showing in my preview? There is nothing there that should be creating them…

Correct. If you hover your cursor over most everything, you will get a Tool Tip with some info about that thing. Hover and hit F1 for even more from the documentation.

Can either of you point me to a tutorial here if my thought is incorrect? The white “Tilbury” in the image didn’t really come through on the burn. I want to apply a trace around the white word, this comes from an inserted image file though. I’m thinking to get the negative of the image to make the word Tilbury in black instead, then trace, then get rid of all the junk around and I guess I’d then have to put that on a different layer since it is not part of the same image. Sound correct? Tracing white is my problem… Man, these forums are such a lifesaver when you are starting out.
