Odd Cut Paths Determination

How does LB determine the absolute cut paths? I find it seems to depend on where the file comes from but let’s say that you are cutting a square with two passes. Sometimes it cuts side A twice and then side B twice, then side C…etc. Sometimes it cuts line A, B, C, D and then A, B, C, D as a second pass. I suppose not a huge deal but sometimes it makes it difficult to determine what pass you are on.

Thanks.
