Hi, with version 0.9.20 I have a problem with path optimization. With the Offset - Fill option, the laser engraves portions of the same character at different times and this causes an unnecessary displacement of its working plane.
Then do not use Offset Fill.
Offset Fill and Flood Fill are both methods to reduce the time spent traveling over blank spaces, but they are intended for very specific kinds of cases, and require a very well maintained machine without backlash or mechanical slop in order to work well. If your machine is leaving gaps or not aligning correctly, use normal raster fill instead.
