Offset Tool Crashes Lightburn

Lightburn is crashing whenever I use the offset tool. For reference, I’m using v1.4.05, on a Macbook Pro w/ 64gb of RAM, running the Ventura Mac OS. Whenever I use the Offset Shape tool, it brings up the dialogue box that asks me the distance, but once I hit “OK” it crashes/quits Lightburn instantly.

I’ve been using Lightburn for about 3 months now, and don’t recall this happening before. I uninstalled, and reinstalled, both the current version and past versions of Lightburn, and the issue persisted.

Thanks in advance for any and all help/advice!

What are you offsetting? Does this occur with objects of any complexity?

Any complexity. Starting the program up, then attempting to offset a simple shape or text, crashes/quits right away.

There’s something fundamentally wrong then.

Do you have issues with any other function?

Try reinstalling.

Is than an ARM Mac? Then perhaps reinstall Rosetta or see if you can regenerate the translation components for LightBurn. I’m not very familiar with low level Rosetta control functions.

If that doesn’t resolve the issue then I’d suggest sending a crash report to support@lightburnsoftware.com.

Yes, I have an ARM architecture Macbook. Not sure what this issue is, considering that everything else for me seems to work in Lightburn.

Did you try resetting Rosetta and reinstalling LightBurn?
