Offsetting a filled letter does not output correctly

Hi there! Noob here. Could not find a solution to probably a simple issue that I have.

I want to create name tags, where the name is filled and it would be cut on its offset. Problem is when I preview it, the offset does not come out right.

Hi Joseph,

On your Line layer, do you have any Kerf settings?

Wow! it was set to -2.54, changed it to 0 and looks great on the preview.
