Offsetting the text from the line it is tied to

I have watched few videos on youtube and searched around but can’t find the answer…

Text to path (in this case a circle).
Align Y is set to Top
Besides the Align Y field there is a Offset field that I thought would do just that… add space between the text and the line it is tied to.
I can’t find any other option to distance the text from the circle.

Sorry, I am learning and this might very well be a dumb question.

There isn’t - just make the circle larger. It’s easier if you use one of the tool layers to make the circle to attach to, instead of using one that’s part of your design.

Ok, thanks… just wanted to make sure.
Yes, i just draw a smaller circle to path the text to and then removed it.
