Hi all. I created a simple square. set the origin and cut a piece of foam. I tell LB to send the module to the home position so I can remove the piece. Once this is done i tell LB to send the laser module to the set origin. It moves as if going to the set origin but it is offset to the right now. off to the side of the square i just cut. Not the original set origin point. I have tried this 3 times and the results are the same. Am i missing something here? I am using a Comgrow Z1 10w.
I think you’re conflating a set user origin position and job origin. Those are not the same thing.

Thank you for the links. I will check them out. It seems to be doing what i was expecting it to now however so i am not sure what was going on.
The key thing to takeaway is that “go to origin” is not referring to the same origin as the 9-dot job origin. Job origin indicates relative start position of a given job, meaning is it the top, top-middle, top-right, etc. of the given job that’s being referenced. The set origin is indicating in absolute position where that origin is located and from which the job origin will be applied.
