I have watched SO MANY YT videos trying to get my Ortur Laser Master 2 15w to work! Ugh. The light comes on, I click Fire. All my settings are in, it shows the light going where it would burn but it just doesn’t burn. A new piece of equipment should not be this frustrating right out of the box. Any tips?
is it in focus? that is very important. I have a OrturLM2 for a couple of months now.
What are you trying to cut / mark? Light-colored objects like white printer paper reflects most of the light from these diode-based laser systems, not allowing enough energy to be deposited to cut this material. It is recommended to try cutting darker materials so the light energy can be absorbed, thus marking or cutting the surface.
