Hello all
i have an Ortur LM3 10 watt, latest firmware version .
When i was line after fill with the rapid movements ( im assuming was the cause ) the power went off on the machine and i had to press the power button again ( thus it re homed ) and i lost the project as i don’t know how to re position it correctly . Using current position .
Is there a setting to change the amount the laser will handle before shutting off ? I was not using extreme speeds 1000 mm and 20 power .

In LightBurn, open the Console window. You may have received a message from the engraver about what happened. If it was a loose wire or a power failure it shouldn’t generate a message when it shuts off.
If the messages in the Console window are long gone, reset the engraving power to zero and repeat the job. It shouldn’t fire the laser and it may quit for the same reason without eating any more material.
If the engraver shuts off a second time, please select and copy the messages from the Console window in LightBurn and paste them into a reply here.
mm/minute or mm/second?
From the machine settings report you’re showing us that the controller can handle 20040 mm/minute but I would be engraving more slowly.
1000 mm/second is 60 x 1000 = 60,000 mm/minute which would qualify as extreme here.
