Im using a rotary, but it does this without it as well. When I set it to do a job, for one it shoots way past where the job is and then even though its up against the rail keeps rotating and trying to go further along the x axis. Turns out, without the rotary it does the same, both ways trying to go further right and further up than what the laser can even allow. I have double checked in device settings to make sure the work area is correct dimensions. What should i do?

Can you post a full screenshot of your LIghtBurn screen so we can take a look please?
Disable rotary mode for now until you verify the issue
also in console type
$RST=*
Press enter
Then try a simple square or circle in non rotary
I did that. When i hit “frame” the laser went to the upper right corner and tried to keep going. Here is a screenshot of it after.
Type $262=1000
press enter in console
Also does the machine make a loud noise when trying to engrave?
Ok, i entered that.
When it tries to engrave there isn’t a loud or odd noise. It only makes a noise as it hits the rail and tries to keep going.
If you move the arrows to move the laser manually, does it move into the correct directions?
Yes it does
and now after rehoming it again, it works as normal. But this happened before, it corrected and then did what all i described again.
