out of memory attempting to rasterize image. Large files will not lad on to my APLazer machine
If you use the Run button, Lightburn will stream it as the controller is ready accept it. This is different than trying to load the entire file all at once into the laser and hitting the laser’s Start button.
This can be a combination of an image with a large number of pixels and a very small Line Interval, because LightBurn will resample the image into an even larger number of pixels to match the Line Interval.
If the APLazer is a CO₂ gantry machine, a Line Interval around 0.2 mm = 127 DPI will be nearly correct, because that’s about the focused spot size.
If you’re doing a large image, pre-processing it into the desired resolution = DPI with a graphic editing program, then using Pass-through mode will eliminate the resampling step.
