Overcutting feature doesn't work

I want to buy a license, so I downloaded the trial version.
I like this software.
BUT, I find that the overcut function does not work.
What could be wrong?
If there is no solution, I will not be able to purchase this software, because this feature is very important for my work

Come with some examples so people understand what your problem is. I have no problem with “overcut” but I also do not use it on a waterjet cutting machine. Possibly that you need to design your tasks specific to your needs. It is not sure that Lightburn is the right program for you/your machine, but I know there are some who use it for plasma cuting machines and here there is a similar process on Start/Stop Sequenz, Lightburn can handle it.

I only want to use Lightburn for generating G-code for my waterjet cutting machine. In order for the contour cut to be correct, the water jet completely cuts through the material, overcutting is required.

It is possible that there is a bug in LB, at closed Shapes there should be an overcut option and it has also been there before, but I also can’t see it in a test in Preview here.
NB. Will it be enough for you when there is only an overcut in the start/end?

Yes, that’s enough

… then we must hope that @lightburn sees this post and brings light in the case
But in the waiting time you can use the other lead-ind/out function, see the pictures.

I found through a simple test that overcut does produce the correct gcode when saved, but as you noted the Preview play does not indicate overcut is applied.
overcut test.nc (1.6 KB)
overcut test.lbzip (5.5 KB)
overcut test.lbrn2 (2.9 KB)

I found the bug.
Overcutting only works if I don’t use the “Entry line” and the “Kerf offset” features.
@lightburn Is it possible for these to be fixed?

test Entry line and Kerf offset.nc (1,5 kB)
test4 only overcut.nc (199 bájt)

This reminds me of a problem I had recently where I couldn’t get “Remove Overlapping Lines” to work.
Unfortunately/fortunately I found the most logical explanation at the very end
However, if “Kerf” is enabled, “ROL” of course cannot work.
