Overlapping line problem

I have two objects on top of eachother, exact same width, differing heights. Optimisation is enabled, delete overlapping lines is green.
Two issues here, possibly one. I hope I can explain this clearly!
When I check the Width both objects are 198.424mm, I have centred them on eachother, but Lightburn still cuts along the line twice.
Now, the secons part of the issue (which may be the whole issue) is that when I zoom right in on the objects, even though the software says thet are the same size, one is slightly bigger than the other. I have cahnged the size of both to 198mm, but the same happens.
Just thinking aloud here, but is there somewhere where the thickness of the cut is put into the system as an internal/external offset? I don’t know if this may be the problem. (Update - I found what I was looking for here - Kerf Offset - it’s set to 0.000 so it’s not that.)
I have 2 shapes lined side-by-side in the same piece of work, and that works perfectly.

Left
Right

I’m an idiot!
I’ve been checking at the TOP of the 2 shapes. Just for no reason I looked at the bottom of them, and found that they lined up.
The outer shape had gone slightly trapeziod, fractionally thinner at the top, overall width not changed, so it still showed as the “same” width, but the top width was smaller.
Just after posting this I found that out.
I hope my leaving this post here instead of deleting it will help out someone else who has also been a bit dim!

You must not be so judgmental of yourself. That you return with the solution is fine for me and others and that is important. We all find every day a little grain of gold it just requires that we want to learn something new. Enjoy
