Overlapping text etched on glass

I have an image (posted below) that has overlapping text. I am needing to engrave this on glass. My initial tests turn out good, but the overlapping text causes the “0” in “40” to overrun the “Chamberlain Ballet”. What is the best option for handling this to make “Chamberlain Ballet” fully legible & the “40” is in the “back”?

I have tried multiple variations of offset, but I can’t achieve what I’m looking for. I need it to be fully engraved, not an outline. In simple terms, I just need some clear spacing around the overlapping letters so they’re legible.

Can anyone tell me how to accomplish this?

create an outline outside of the Ballet, then substract the outline from the 0

Use the offset tool on your text. I used a 1mm outward offset, then select the 0 and open Boolean Assistant and choose the subtract tool that gets the results you want. Repeat for the other word.

Thank you so much! This is exactly what I needed.
