The laser stops? As in comes to a standstill? That’s troubling.

In RDWorks there’s a setting for minimum power and maximum power and it ALMOST eliminates this issue.

How are you burning from RDWorks?

I see min power in the settings for images (grayed out) but not in the settings for lines at all.

For g-code lasers only grayscale has a valid minimum power setting.

In my mind the ‘perfect’ routine would have a maximum and minimum power as well as a maximum acceleration.

Normally these things would all be defined in firmware. For example, LightBurn has no concept of acceleration or specifies for it in g-code. It only understands g0 rapids and g1 feed rates.
