How do you set different power levels for top and bottom?
Min / Max settings don’t do anything for dithering - you’re getting 18% for the entire image, because dithering is just on/off.

With that method, what does the result look like if it’s back lit, rather than edge lit?
Would probably work nicely on glass as well, I’ll do a test as soon as I moved my laser to the workshop.

Probably Jarvis or plain dither.
What type/brand of paint did you use?
looks good - did you wash the paint off ?
