When using minimum/maximum power values, these are based on the start speed within the controller.
If you run at or below the start speed, your output will always be at minimum power. I drew a graph to try and make it more clear.
My start speed was set to 20mm/s, I changed it to 5mm/s… Just understand how it works.

I am fairly new to laser and was having a similar problem. If you are using the honeycomb, you still to make sure you have the some of blades installed underneath. This keeps the Honeycomb flat. Otherwise, it can sag and that will throw the off focus depending on the laser position over the bed.
Thanks Jim, I was using the honeycomb on top of the blades but since I am cutting out Halloween decor I am now just using the blades. I also slowed my mm/s. Thanks for the help. John
