Im sorry if this has been asked and answered maybe I missed it trying to read through all of the posts. My wife bought me a Lightburn camera for Christmas and I finally started playing with it today. I concerned if she ordered the right one or if I’m just doing something wrong. I have a red/black 60W with the 500X700 bed. She bought me the 8MP 120 degree camera and we thought that was right but when I started the set up it seems wrong. The camera captures so much outside the bed and i had to move it down midway on the cover. If anyone can assist me in making sure I have the right camera or if we wasted 110.00 and need a different one. Please dont tell me to read the guides, I have gone through it and obviously I am posting because I cant get it figured out.
Did you go to ‘Help → Camera Selection Help’?
It gives you the recommended camera for the distance above the bed…
How high is the camera above the bed?
Yes. If i mount it on the curve of the cover its 31-32 inches above the bed.
I have the same machine as you. I purchased the 5mp/66. It seems to show all of the bed without too much of the outside showing. I am currently trying to figure all of the camera stuff out. I think the one that you got will work but you will have to zoom it in to see what you need to see. You can zoom in using Lightburn.
The guides are difficult figure out, I finally found one post from Oz, I believe it was, that explained it to where I could comprehend it.

Don’t worry about what it looks like when doing the focus test… I have the same camera with a 16 x 30 bed and it works great!! When doing calibration test you will have to up the scale of the targets as wide as they can go and make sure you have a piece of material as big as your bed. think my scale was 110…. So when you get it focused and calibrated, you have to have the lid up and then update overlay… close lid slowly and bam place your artwork… there’s a lot of videos out there…. The camera works great when installed correctly
