Hi I’m using a creality falcon 10 watt laser engraver and updated lightburn. If I make an image in photo shop, save as a PNG, my laser cuts and engraves perfect. Circles are circles, square are squares.
If I import a svg or create something in lightburn, circles look like lemon and square aren’t square.
Calibrated asis x asis is spot on, y asis is not.
If I make a square 5 inches by 5 inches, x is 5inches but y asis is 4.85
No matter what I do y asis doesn’t move.
If my box is 5 x 5 in a PNG file it’s fine.
Perhaps Edit → Settings → File Settings → SVG Import Settings is … uh … set to 96 DPI, rather than 72 DPI:
That will affect imported SVG files, not PNG files.
That suggests a mechanical problem, rather than a file import problem.
