I have a hole to drill that measures 12x4.5mm.
I’m using a 4mm drill bit, but the program increases the size to about 5.5mm, as you can see in the design. What can I do to prevent the pocket from increasing its size as shown in the screenshot?
Hi, it’s difficult to know exactly what we are looking at, if you attach the .mage project file we can better understand. If you are using a 4mm router bit and pocketing out a 4.5mm shape then I would expect the tool path to look similar to what you are showing.
But if the output size is bigger, then check the “Stock to Leave” value - a negative value would be one possible cause;
