Positioning. I can seem to adjust my lightburn settings to align woth my ortur laser HELP!

Hello everyone, I just got my laser and I can’t seem to adjust my x and y positioning on the laser. For whatever reason when I set my laser to 430mm x 400mm working area and then tell light burn to start in the bottom left corner and tell the laser to move just a few millimeters it moves hundreds. It doesn’t seem to have the correct increments for moving the laser. I would like to put the image on my grid and but my material under the laser and it will go right to the postion I wanted it to. I just need help lol thank you!!

I would like to help… run “$$” in the console and copy/paste the output here.
Also, maybe a few screen captures of your device settings would help too.

Im sure others will have an idea too…

In the console, type $# and press enter. If the first line (G54) contains something other than all zeros, type this command:

G10 L2 P1 X0 Y0

(and press enter). That will clear any workspace offset.

g54 was all zeroed out.

These seem high to me… Let me pull mine out of the box and check those…

My settings for $100 and $101 are 80 each. I have an LM2 with the newer board (with the phone jack looking thing in the front). If yours is the same, try typing:

RST=*

… in the console and pressing enter. That will reset all the settings to the factory defaults. It’s possible you (or something) changed them.
