I am engraving anodized aluminum. The laser does not have the same power and makes spots. Yesterday everything was fine, today it is annoying. The tube is new 50w, about 50 hours of work. I have an automatic cooler, the water temperature is around 20 degrees. Could it be the power supply?
It could be a multitude of things - a change in the part’s coating thickness, loss of focus, loss of beam alignment, and overheating of the tube. The hotter the water in your circuit is, the lower the output power will be.
