Power scale at slow speed not working

Power scale not working at slow speeds why ?

I made a cut/line square patter to determine the the best speed & power to cut through 3mm plywood.

What is strange is that when I run the file, the slow speed of 9mm/sec , the power scale did not work. The scale only started working from about 25mm/sec and up.

Lower than 25mm/sec the laser only cut at only at around 10% and stayed at that level 10%

Any idea why the power scale does not work at slow speed ?

That’s likely what your ‘Start Speed’ value is. In the controller, this setting controls the speed where the power starts ramping from min power up to max power. At or below this speed, the controller uses Min Power only.

The fantastic problem should be solved now.
Can I change that setting or is not advisable. Why do they have this setting and will damage my laser to change this setting?

It’s easy to adjust, and it won’t harm the laser. I’m not entirely sure why the value is set this way - the default is usually 10mm/sec, but I’ve seen values as low as 1mm/sec and as high as 30.

Ok I was trying to cut at 9mm/sec , so that may be my problem.
