When I click preview I am getting the message "One or more shapes are crossing The edge of the machine workspace and will not be sent. New project. Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated.

You receive a message about the error. There is something outside your work area. It actually protects the machine from running over its limits and crashing into the frame.

Any idea what is there or how to remove it? This is a new import and there shouldn’t be any thing else there.

Absolute Coords and Cut Selected Graphics as a basic setting.

If you can’t see what outside your work area, hold the Shift key and click on the right side, on the layers you have active, it shows all that is in this layer.

Yea those are the settings I had on. Nothing else is showing up other than the new project.

Can you send the LBRN2 file?

Sorry I’m new to this and don’t know what that is

OK, it’s the project file itself that has .lbrn2 after the name you give the file.

Its just an import of an image. If you get too frustrated trying to explain this and give up I will totally under stand

No, no … It’s totally ok we all start somewhere.
The meaning of looking at the file is to see if I could find small artificials, residues or similar that you may not see/find as a new user. It is almost the only option for this type error, in my opinion.

Just send the file, i.e. save your import in a LightBurn file and send it.
I’m going to bed now, at. is at 2 am in DK, but I look at it tomorrow or another of our friends here do it and help you.

Ok. Thank you for the help.

Use CTRL +A when you go to delete a project. That will select everything. Sometimes things are outside your field of view and get missed.

Just tried that and still doing the same thing

Upload your file so we can take a look.
And a screenshot of Lightburn with the project loaded.

Thanks you everyone for the help. I tried all the suggestions and couldn’t figure it out. The same download wasn’t giving me issues on my other computer so I just deleted and redownloaded LightBurn again. Problem went away! Thanks again for the help!!
