Print and cut alignment issue

Having an issue with alignment when using Print and Cut.

I have read the instructions and watched videos and the process seems straight forward.

  1. I created a sheet of labels in Inkscape, registration marks at opposing corners, saved as a png.
  2. Imported PNG to Lightburn and traced the sheet
  3. Using the traced sheet, I set the first and second target positions using absolute coordinates.

When starting the cut , the laser has no trouble locating and accurately cutting the registration marks, however the rest of the sheet is out of alignment by at least an inch on both the X and Y axis. I did not edit or move any object on the sheet which would cause a misalignment…

Any clues on what I did wrong?

I suspect the problem is the fact that it’s an image, and we had a bug with aligning images in Print and Cut that has been fixed for the next release.

Also, I noticed that you haven’t given any indication at all as to what controller is running your laser, and your profile lists it as “China Blue” - you should fix that, as it makes life easier for us since we don’t constantly have to ask.
