Hey Guys, very newbie here, i got a second hand laguna 30 watt fiber galvo, finally got it connected to win 11, my first test print was full size on the computer, but when it prints its almost microscopic, machine and software are both im MM. sure its probably something small but it is kicking my butt
Hi @steve730
From what you’ve said so far: you’re using a second-hand Laguna 30 W fiber galvo on Windows 11 with LightBurn, the job looks the right size in the workspace, but the actual mark comes out extremely small, and everything is set to mm.
What’s missing to pin this down is a screenshot of Device Settings → Galvo & Basic Settings, the field width and height you have set there, whether this device profile was created from scratch or came with the machine, and whether the original galvo COR file is still present.
Maybe you have to dipswitch the stepper boards to less steps for one revolution.
But in Lightburn there is an axis calibration (in 2.x… under Laseroptions or like) where you type in the actual size like “size is 100, measure is 2mm” and it will be scaled.
