I forgot to say those attempts were all done in Stuki but seeing as how you mentioned Greyscale earlier in the conversation, I gave two attempts at it yesterday. I may try againā¦.in six months or so.
I used the ceramic paint from a tube instead of a spray can and with some watering down it spreads very easy using a sponge, its also way cheaper and much more coverage. I did two coats on that wood but will repeat and get full white cause the grain is gappy and the engraving looks streaky (Vertically) I also noticed that Bulldog had the grain running left to right in all the examples he posted above instead of vertical!
Although all factors are important, Iām thinking that the foundation of a lasered photograph isā¦the photograph quality you start with, especially background and lighting direction, if the editing is to be kept to a minimum.
Thanks for the links, chopping wood and carrying wood at boot camp has been fun and great for practicing UI but a little efficency is nice too
Which of the Luma-Loft tools did you use for this?
A trick is to wet wood, dry it, and sand off the raised grain. Repeat until the grain quits rising. Then it is ready for paint.
If I learned anything working with lasers, it is that it is half science and half art.

I would think you could also use brown cardstock to practice on. itās a lot cheaper than wood and has no grain.
I found Amazon boxes cut similar to Baltic 3mm plywood.
that is very impressive and this was done with gigapixelai or luma-loft?

Well I took my picture to LUMA-LOFT and when I went to copy it to LB it came out in pieces. I mean a section of one child and a section of another one. I donāt know how to say it, but maybe I can get it on here GRRRRRRRR
