Problem with file transfer fail and reverse engraving

Just starting with Lightburn software and a relatively new 80 watt laser with a Trocen-AWC controller. WE keep encountering two problems:

  1. We successfully send jobs to the laser, which cuts them, no problem. Then we try to send another anfd get the transfer fail message, “There was a problem sending data to the laser. The machinery may be busy or paused”. Ocasionally we also get this with the first job we try to send, ie a freshly fired up laser and newly loaded software… Very frustrating.

  2. We send an image to the laser to engrave, it looks perfect in the software and appears correct on the screen on the laser cutter. Press start and it engraves the image in reverse, although again the screen on the laser shows it engraving correctly.
