Problème avec mon laser sculpfun S30 5W

Bonsoir

The first thing I’d try is to re-load settings from a date you know it worked. This can be done using the show preferences folder and reload an old configuration. Next would be to re-install LightBurn. This helps in most cases.
You can also try to reset the firmware settings in the laser by sending $RST=* via console.

Great. You have set LB to mm/s as units in your screenshot, you should set it to mm/min. Then you can compare your settings to everyone else using diode lasers. But I guess you already did this then.

Thank you but I want to know and if you can help me by telling me how to put it in mm/min and also tell me if you think this is the best option?

This is changed in the settings window, Uniots and Grids Tab and yes, this is the correct setting for your laser.

(Gears Icon)

Thank you but I want to know if I have to fill in exactly all the information for the capture that you sent me?

The only thing you have to set is mm/min. The others are preferences, such as the Shape Move Increments ar how you want to work when designing. How far something will move with pressing Ctrl & Arrow key, Arrow key by itself and shift & arrow key. Whether or not you want snapping and how you want your grid to appear.

Here is the screenshot of mine

You’re using an older version but it looks correct. I don’t speak the language. This might be good to review, although it’s for the current version so the menus are different.

Thank you because if this is correct it’s thanks to you but I have another big problem when I finish a cut the head of my laser will crash into the rails and I don’t know why but that’s all time like this

show device settings(wrench & Screwdriver)

Here is the screenshot I just sent you

Uncheck return to Finish Position. That will cause the laser to stop where it is at the end of the job.

With it set to 0,0 it should go the the home position, but if you move the laser by hand Lightburn doesn’t know where the laser is located.

Yes, I don’t know exactly how to adjust it and as I don’t master the laser machine, so before cutting or engraving I always position the laser head by hand before cutting or engraving. can you help me in this direction? and by going back to the screenshot that I sent you, can you circle the parts that I need to fix and tell me what to do in each part that you have circled please

Uncheck this. That will keep the laser where the job ends.

Thank you, it’s done and I want to know if you can teach me how to calibrate without moving the laser head by hand to be able to calibrate it and also I want lightburn to memorize a job so that when I start the job again on the same object that my laser can respect the proportions as the previous work

Does your machine have limit switches for homing?

Yes I think so because it’s the SCULPFUN S30 5W
