For some reason LB won’t respond to this board, anyone else have this problem?

Using an MKS Gen L v.1.0 board flashed with mega 2650, (grbl 1.1h), trying to install 3d printer
head on my machine. Just wondered if anyone had success with this board and LB. Board is connecting and shows commands but nothing is moving. Have checked and re-checked all
connections, voltage, etc. with no results.
Can you communicate with this board using other software?
