Does Lightburn save the calculated cut path optimizations in the file? Can it? Or, does it have to recalculate them every time I run the file? I’m on LB 1.3.01 on Ubuntu 22.04.
I assume you’re talking about the .lbrn design file. If so it’s the latter, optimizations are reapplied every time you begin a new burn.
If you were to save the gcode or .rd file or other output format then everything would be hardcoded into the execution code if you wanted to simply rerun those without any chance that optimizations were changed.
Thank you that is exactly the answer I needed.
