Protective lens (orange lens) is stuck and cant clean

Hello, I post it here in Lightburn as I have no replies in reddit and fb pages. I have a problem with my Sculpfun S9 laser. The laser dot seems to be thicker than it was originally. I wanted to clean my laser head but the protective lens (orange lens) is stuck, I assume it is because from the resin of the wood from burning. Any tips on how to pull it out? Here is a sample of cuts weeks before and now.

EDIT: I have unscrewed the screws before attempting to remove the lens.

If it’s the round one looks like it’s held in with allen screws.

oh yeah i forgot to mention i have unscrewed the screws as well

Maybe try soaking with alcohol.

Many of these plastics are susceptible to solvents. Alcohol is a solvent with acrylic… Be wary.

It’s sometimes very difficult to remove it, but with applying enough force, it usually works. A lot of force, wiggling and patience might be needed. :slight_smile:
