I have a 75mm by 50mm section. I am having to stretch my design to 150mm on my x axis to get it to do the 75x50mm area. My design preview will also give a 3 minute estimate but go negative in the count down doubling the time it takes to engrave. I have my device set to 400/400mm for the work space.
In your console window type $$ and press enter key. Copy and paste all the output here.

THANK YOU so much. I greatly appreciate it as this fixed it.
Noticing my prints are still slightly to the left, and that I am still going negative during print time. both $100 and $101=80
The $100 & 101 settings are for the steps per mm that your stepper motor requires. Those have nothing to do with positioning. I’m taking a shot in the dark since you haven’t provided any screenshots of your project or photos of the output you’re getting. From the settings, it appears that your machine doesn’t have limit switches for homing, therefore you must manually position the laser head in the origin position before turnbing the power on. Typically this is the front left corner. Wherever the laser head is located when turned on is the 0,0 position. With this machine you are probably best off working in “Current Position” Mode. This video may help your understanding of the subject. It was produced with machines that have limit switches, but I cover the different start from modes.
