Ray5 Pilot v1.2.3 Released ā€” Ray5 controller.

v1.2.3 highlights:

  • Improved cross-platform support for Windows and Linux.

  • Added a Linux/macOS launcher script: start-ray5-pilot.sh.

  • Added safer cross-platform folder opening.

  • Improved camera snapshot handling so snapshots can use the live preview frame first instead of opening another RTSP/ffmpeg connection.

  • Improved timelapse capture reliability.

  • Hardened RTSP/ffmpeg logging so camera passwords are not exposed in logs.

  • Added status monitor settings in the Settings page:

    • Active Job Poll Interval
    • WebSocket Ping Interval
    • WebSocket Ping Timeout

  • Improved release packaging so Linux support files are included.

  • Updated safety checks for release/package validation.

Iā€™m still testing and improving it, so feedback from other Ray5 users is welcome. If anyone tries it, please let me know what model you are using, what firmware you are on, and whether you are running Windows or Linux.
